I have enjoyed coming to Corvallis since 1968 and was fortunate to make it my permanent home in 2014.  Before retiring I spent 38 years as a public-school teacher in Phoenix and Spokane, teaching elementary grades from kindergarten through third.  Education and community have always been central to my life, and I believe it is very important to support teachers in their challenging and meaningful work of helping children become lifelong learners.  I look forward to helping support the mission of the Corvallis Schools Foundation.
