CSF Board Member - Tonia Bloom

Tonia Bloom

Serving as a board member of the Corvallis Schools Foundation is part of my passion for the Corvallis School District, the Corvallis community, and Corvallis students. I have been part of the CSF since it began in 1998 and am proud of the many ways the Foundation helps enrich the education of Corvallis students. My husband Marshall and I first came to the Bitterroot Valley in 1972 and have lived in Corvallis since 1977.  Our two sons both attended Corvallis Schools for 13 years and I have served on the Corvallis School Board since 1987. I have been a classroom volunteer, a member of the School District’s Curriculum, Gifted/talented, Negotiations, Facilities, and Five-Year Plan committees, and have been the volunteer coordinator of the Reading Is Fundamental Program since 1988. I am the secretary of the Corvallis Civic Club and serve on the board of the Bitter Root Land Trust and the Ravalli County Open Lands Board. I am a past board member of the Montana School Boards Association and the Teller Wildlife Refuge. When it comes to enhancing the education of Corvallis students the sky is the limit and the Corvallis Schools Foundation is a way for all of us in the Corvallis community to help them soar.
